Civil Workers and Casual Traffic Controllers

Stornoway is an Employer of Choice that has been operating for over 42 years. We are growing and diversifying our business, leading to opening of opportunities in our civil and traffic control divisions.

As a civil worker you will be engaged in a variety of civil and project works. Ideally you will have 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a Medium Rigid truck licence, White Card and plant, concreting or general labouring skills.

To be a traffic controller you will need to have your White Card and Traffic Management Qualifications and experience in the implementation and management of both simple and complex traffic management plans. Shift work may be required.

Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator – Pilbara WA

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role is responsible for the maintenance, operation and monitoring of our water and wastewater infrastructure in a safe, effective and efficient manner to ensure regulatory compliance and customer service standards are upheld.

The roster will vary but will typically be 14 days on, 14 days off. Days are 12 hours and there is an occasional on-call component. The role has a strong focus on safety, in a team oriented environment; you to be highly competent in a range of plant operations, including but not limited to:
