Hydro Tasmania contract win

Stornoway has secured a $1.5M contract to undertake routine maintenance works across Hydro Tasmania’s statewide road network.

The work has arisen from a network safety audit undertaken on behalf of Hydro Tasmania by independent consultants. The audit identified the need for a raft of maintenance works to be undertaken to ensure a minimum safety standard was achieved across the State.

The works largely involves:



Stornoway’s established presence as a maintenance contractor on the state road network, combined with our staff’s detailed knowledge of the Hydro Tasmania road network, made Stornoway an ideal contractor for the project.

HT are seeking to have the works completed by mid-2009.
