Stornoway Water in the Whitsundays

Print EmailPosted on 12 June, 2009 in Stornoway Water News

Stornoway Water has supplied, installed and commissioned a Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant for the prestigious Whitsundays Aviation Village Estate (W.A.V.E.) in North Queensland.

This unique project combines a private airstrip with both a commercial and residential development. The location of the Aviation Village offers keen aviators a stepping stone to the Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef and North Queensland.

Stornoway Water has designed and installed a 53kL/day AQEO Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Sewage Treatment Plant for the residential estate that produces Class ‘A’ recycled water that meets the stringent effluent requirements set by Great Barrier Reef Marine Authority (GBRMA) for this environmentally sensitive area.

The plant will service both the commercial and residential development and is a modular design that can be expanded should the development grow in the future which is a major benefit for this type of project.

If Stornoway Water can assist you with your waste water or water treatment requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Stornoway can provide detailed budget quotes in less than 48 hours.
