Stornoway Water to provide Wastewater Treatment plant for WA prison

Stornoway Water has been awarded a contract for the design, supply and installation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Karnet Correctional Centre in Western Australia.
The plant will treat sewage for up to 400 inmates to a Class ‘A’ recycled water standard for irrigation reuse. The correctional facility is a minimum security centre and has a strong focus on farming and sustainability.
Stornoway will supply:
• AQEO Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) 100 kL/day Wastewater Treatment Plant
