Stornoway

Forward thinking in Maintenance Solutions

The significant inroads we’ve made, in creating critical infrastructure, are reflected in the ongoing provision of routine maintenance to public and private asset managers.

In fact, since 1998 we’ve been providing routine road maintenance to the Tasmanian State Government. This is where our commitment really shows on a 24/7 basis. In that time, Stornoway has never missed an emergency call-out. Thereby ensuring the roads remain open and safe for the travelling public.

However, we believe a responsive service in itself just isn’t enough. Always thinking about what’s around the next corner, Stornoway has consistently implemented a cost-effective “find and fix” approach to asset maintenance. Inspecting sites for signs of deterioration and attending to them before they require more urgent or expensive repair.

We’ve also initiated plenty of work innovations, all aimed at improving both safety and value. Such as the design and installation of temperature sensitive frost and ice warning signs across the Southern Tasmanian road network.

So what sets Stornoway apart? A skilled, motivated team with years of experience building the very assets we maintain. Also a genuine passion to add real value to our community.

And as you’d expect, Stornoway continues to maintain the same high level of competitiveness and commitment it first demonstrated to win the upgrading of the Lake Leake Highway way back in 1983.
