Mersey Lea 5-10mm stone

Stornoway Quarrying’s Mersey Lea 5-10mm is a glacial stone washed down from the mountains of Tasmania’s north becoming the basis for river beds over hundreds of years. The product is mined from an old northern Tasmanian flood plain so that sensitive river ways are not affected. In fact, during the mining process, Stornoway Quarrying retains the top soil of the area being mined and then rehabilitates the land back to quality pastoral land improving the performance for livestock and crops.

Stornoway Quarrying’s Mersey Lea 5-10mm stone is ideal for household applications such as planters, smaller garden beds and aquarium use. The finer grade of stone and the deep, rich colouring also makes it perfect for concrete drive and path aggregate.

Stornoway Quarrying Mersey Lea 5-10mm stone is available in 20kg bags, one tonne bulk bags and by the tonne in trucks and trailers.
