Norit new membrane technology

Membrane developer and manufacturer Norit has recently released its new dry mount membrane application that is specifically designed with a lower whole of life cost while ensuring the application has a more energy efficient power consumption.

The applications have been developed with the growing municipal MBR market in mind and the technology is currently being utilised in 40 MBR plants around the world including four units here in Australia.

Norit have kindly provided a report detailing the experience to date of using pressurised membrane MBRs in European municipal wastewater treatment systems.
