Aqeo® MBR
Fluid thinking in membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment.
The Aqeo® MBR (membrane bioreactor) wastewater treatment system produces the highest standard of recycled water (Class A/A+), suitable for uncontrolled reuse including ground irrigation, toilet flushing and process washdown. In a technical sense, it is a suspended growth activated sludge system that utilises microporous membranes for solid/liquid separation.
The system incorporates a proprietary biological treatment process using extended aeration. Our process provides flexibility in flow demands, in addition to a high standard of effluent quality with virtually no odours. In combination with ultra-filtration membranes, the process forms a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) to produce extremely high quality recycled water.
Flow balancing is incorporated into the design of the plant to enable the daily peaks to be absorbed, while the normal treatment processes are undertaken. This enables the plant to spread the load over the day resulting in a higher quality final effluent being produced.
Aeration is undertaken in the aeration tank utilising fine bubble membrane diffusers. Dissolved oxygen monitoring and variable speed control of the aeration equipment results in maximising of plant power efficiency while providing the ideal conditions for optimum water treatment.
Ultra-filtration serves as an absolute barrier to solids, as well as being an extremely efficient method of filtering a very high percentage of bacteria and viruses. Ultra-violet radiation treatment combined with chlorine dosing provides double disinfection for enhanced final effluent quality.

Aqeo® AS
Fluid thinking in activated sludge treatment.
Achieving biological nutrient removal to 10mg/l nitrogen, the Aqeo® AS (activated sludge) produces an effluent suitable for controlled re-use or disposal. The system incorporates our proprietary biological treatment process based on extended aeration. This process provides flexibility in flow demands, in addition to producing a high standard of effluent quality with virtually no odours.

Aqeo® UF
Fluid thinking in ultra-filtration.
The Aqeo® UF plant is a fully enclosed and skid mounted ultra-filtration plant for water and wastewater purification. The system is based on a combination of pre-filtration, membrane ultra-filtration and disinfection.
Aqeo® UF plants exclusively incorporate a world leading ultra-filtration membrane system. Our supplier manufactures a range of membranes for different applications, all of which can be incorporated into the Aqeo® UF plant, depending on feed water quality and required discharge standards.
Our membranes also have the flexibility of working with fully automated Clean in Place (CIP) systems.
Single step treatment is also possible and can produce a high quality permeate without particles and bacteria. Aqeo® RO
Fluid thinking in reverse osmosis.
The Aqeo® RO water treatment plant is a fully enclosed and skid mounted reverse osmosis plant capable of reducing up to 99% of dissolved solids and inorganic molecules from feed waters. The RO membrane also removes up to 98% of bacteria and organic contaminants, as well as colloidal and suspended matter larger than 0.05 micron, ensuring consistently high quality drinking water or purified water for industrial application.
Reverse osmosis separation technology is used to remove dissolved impurities from water through the use of a semi-permeable membrane. RO involves the reversal of flow through a membrane from a high salinity, or concentrated, solution to the high purity, or “permeate”, stream on the opposite side of the membrane.
