Stornoway actively encourages women to join our statewide workforce, and once onboard, we invest in their development.

Women are encouraged by our flexible working arrangements which allow work around family and study commitments, along with the wide range of  professional development and leadership opportunities.  As an example, the willingness of women to join us is reflected in our statewide Traffic Management team gender balance - 28.07% female : 71.93% male.  Traffic Controllers have a huge sense of pride in what they do.
